New Rottenrow Digi Releases! - 4/04/09

After a short absence, we are kicking off a series of Rottenrow Records digital releases next week. On general release from Monday 6th April, we have two new offerings you have to check out: Gummer - Gummer Takes Umbrage (ROTTEN D101) Dark Duke - Bring Me Their Heads (ROTTEN D102) Our shop/audio is down for a bit, but head along to the Juno Digital website to hear em and get advance promo copies. From the 6th April you will be able to get them at all decent online shops. John Hospital presents Dirty Hospital offshoot Gummer. These tracks take influence from all over the place. 1983 electro, Chicago house and rave flavours are all prominent, with enough 8-bit roughness and wonk to make Gummer a unique proposition. You will find the Gummer track - Routes - appearing on the next 12 inch from the Pookies Chocolate Nose label. Dark Duke takes inspiration from nights of smoke and strobe lights at the Soundhaus in Glasgow, as well as the sea and hills around his home town, Dunoon. ENJOY!
